best price on RV275's
Hello all,
I'm looking for a set of new RV 275's and I'm wondering where to find a good price on them (prefer local but....) found a set on Ebay for $350 but all others I checked are higher. I am going to call Pensacola diesel and talk to them about their non Bosch injectors but I would rather have the Bosch.
Thanks and I'll be back later

I had a lot of diesel in the crankcase so I have to go in there anyway, The truck is running as it always has but the 275's I have in there now have 130K on them so I'm just going to replace everything, injectors, connector tubes (probably) and of course all the O rings. The truck will be my primary (only?) vehicle for the foreseeable future, it's got to be reliable

do that RV 275 make that much of a diffrence power wise? and do they smoke at all if that was the only mod? i have the edge juice W/att. level 6 unlock and stock injectors that are going out got 2 of em that like to no work completly. so would that a bea good combo? i dont need 150's or even 100's just 40's or so

I ran RV 275's with the Juice Hot Unlocked. It was a good setup and did smoke more than the stock injectors when on the higher levels of the Juice.
The best power comparison that I can equate RV275's to is the power increase you feel on a stock truck and then turn on the Juice or Edge Comp to level 1.
If you're looking for lots of power, skip the RV's and go with a bigger 100Hp or larger injector.
DS Jockey If you're looking for cheap, send your "worn" RV 275's to an injector shop and get them cleaned and have the pop off pressure reset. Believe it or not, worn used injectors maintain pop off pressure longer than new ones. Although the worn injectors may take a shim or two to have perfect pop off pressure, once set, they will stay within spec much longer than new injectors that aren't broke in yet.

i just put in RV275 sticks from stock sticks.
i ran the stock ones with a quad xzt+ for a while and i could barely get a haze going. once i put in the 275's, i could puff a pretty good cloud of smoke, but it clears up really fast. i can only do this when the box is set to timing & fuel
also, i would say the difference it made in power was comparable to the quad xzt+ set to performance (65hp) with stock injectors. with the xzt+ and the 275's together i am very happy with the new power i have. it's enough to put a smile on my face, but not too much that i am losing sleep worrying about breaking things . . .

Truck was defueling from too much boost (my WG actuator weas shot and not working)
they dropped about 1 sec in the 1/4 mile over stock
i bought one used bosch set of 275s for $175 in the classifieds here
and a new set of bosch 275 on ebay for $193
Great small bump in power with little added smoke

Are the special tools for removing the connector tubes and injectors really necessary?
Thanks again for all the replies
