Temps also depend on where the sending unit is...
In the pan... yes these are not good temps...

In the output line... maybe not so bad?

I think he was asking about the range the gauge covers not saying what his trans temp was.

I shopped around online for a few days....weeks til I got the money and had located all the best deals. I know a place in Nashville and they price match, showed them the printouts and they matched the prices. Got two that way, when I went to buy my egt I found a site online that had a ridiculous price(cheap) and I called and asked if they were serious. Paid for it over the phone, about a day or two later got it in the mail, shipped from the place in Nashville where I bought my other two gauges. I saved a ton of money this way.

If your looking best price do what I did, if you got a pocket full of cash just waiting to be relocated, just buy the first thing that comes along. It's just a matter of what brand you want etc.

I'm planning on putting mine in the hotline going to the trans cooler. Just gotta find time to install it! Heres a good thread about it with some part numbers for the stuff you'll need. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...090#post362090
