So I'm just wondering what everybody else is running for oil in their G56??

What is the best fluid for longevity, smooth shifts and cold weather operation??

ATF in a manual? Maybe there is something I dont know, but why would you put ATF in a manual transmission? Thanks

Many manual trannys have been calling for ATF since Chevy (GM) first redesigned how they work back, in 1991. Tighter tolerances plus a few other changes contribute to the reason for it.

Problem with gear lubes is the EP additives eat (corrode) brass, copper parts.

I went with the synthetic amsoil ATF for tranny and TC, severe gear 75-90 in F&R Diffs.
It is better shifting even when cold (9 this week)

If you do lots of towing 75/140 Severe gear is better. 75/110 is also available.
