I recently decided I wanted to upgade my lighting system. After some digging on ebay I decided i wanted to go with a true xenon lighting system. My brother had a spare set of the black one piece headlights that we put them in and wow what a difference. It might be a tad on the pricey side mine cost 150.00 but if you do alot of night driving I would strongly recommend these esp seeing how our second gens have poor designed headlights to begin with.

it wasn't very hard to install xentec is the brand i went with they are 5000ks I took some photos of them the other night they are very bright compared to standard halogen. Install only took me about a hour they are pretty much plug and play. The hardest part of the install was figuring out where to install the ballasts. I'll try to get the pics up tonight or tommorrow

Does anyone make a set of HID's for the Sport model (quad bulbs) Rams, or am I gonna have to suck it up and buy two sets?

those kits are not legal and they blind the other drivers i put one in and loved it. i just now changed them to projectors i bought them from e-bay they were off of a honda accord tx, the wiring on the 06's has been time consuming on installation of hid and led's with no load resistors. it was well worth the time spent

I installed the one piece headlights, along with a set of silverstars. They are so much better than the stock headlights in my 98, wow. The pattern isn't perfect, but it is clear, bright and the light is right where it should be.

Don't see where they can't be legal I know new cars are coming out with the hid bulbs from the factory and the lights are dot approved

My car has xenons and they are 6,493 times better than my truck lights. Are the ones you installed self-levelling? I wouldn't want to be hitting oncoming cars directly in the eyes with xenons.

the first two pics is the stock halogen bulbs in my brothers truck and second pics is my truck. both trucks have the same one piece black headlights

the cars come with lenses for the hid bulbs and have sharp cutoff to keep from blinding other drivers the plug and play can not do this, you have to install oem projector- bulb and balast

I agree, best mod I have done. I have mine aimed way down and have never had a oncoming car flash me. I still see very well even with them aimed down. Someone will have to show me some proof that they aren't legal before I believe it.

can you use these on stock lens housing? 150 for both? got a link?

they are all over ebay I got mine from ebay seller autoilluminate. I'm sure you could use them on a stock lens. but you would probably get more benefit from them if you had either sport or cystal clear headlamps of some kind. The oem single bulb has some sort of grid pattern and i think they wouldn't pass as much light through as a clear lens personally

oh one thing to remember!!! if you do this with a standard xenon kit your high beams will not work. they have to be the bi-xenon type in order to keep the high beams via a solinoid built into the bulb
