ive a Perma Cool fuel water separator and need a replacement element...what guys do you use? I would stay with the perma cool ones or there are better quality filter? ive the one w the drain plug....
heard many compliment on Baldwin filters too

I use a Raycor 4120 unit as my trucks' pre-filter unit. My filter is a 10 micron filter and the stock filter is a 2 micron filter. The Raycor filters come in various lengths/ratings and use a clear bowl with a drain port. A heater option is available if you live in very cold climates. My unit also has a primer pump and port for priming the system after filter elements are changed.

I cross referenced my filter and also purchased Baldwin and another brand which I just forgot.

Now I can get filters at almost any truck stop in America. I didn't want a special filter element that I could only buy from one shop or store.

On my WMO pump I use baldwin bf1212 filters with no real complaints.

RayCor SM2000 if you can find one. Best centrifigal fuel movement I've seen.
Its a small marine type with bronze colored bowl and drain on bottom. 10mc
filter if you need it.

Have not installed it on the Dodge because of the setup. If I were to change to the tank pump set up, I would install it before the fuel filter were the LP currently is without a filter. Just use it to spin out the junk. You would not believe the sand and other nastys after a few thousand miles.

Hey guys, on my 1995 I have an aftermarket spin on plumbed before the stock set up close to the block. I change the first one every 3000 mi, then the stock one every 10k or so. Where would I need to install a water/air seperator and what would be a good brand/model ? Thank you in advance.

i got a duel filter head from cummins so i could use a H2O/fuel prefilter and a fine final filter. i had to change my filter housing to a 96 spin on style and get an adapter but i now have duel filters right where my old stock one was. fits great and should extend the life of my IP.
