What is the best exhaust?

Hey Guys

I have a 96 ram 12 valve diesel five speed. I am looking into getting a new exhaust system for it. what do you think the best exhaust would be for it?
The most i tow is a car trailer that weighs at most 8,000 pounds with the car?
I need something that will last.

also can anyone tell me what size turbo and injector pump is on my truck it is completely stock.

Don't know where you live since you didn't complete personal info, so it has to do with that. If you live where salt in winter is an issue, the best would be 4" SS. If no salt, then most any aluminized will last many years. Check your ID tag on side of front timing cover in front of injection pump and it will give you HP of engine and a lot of other good useful information.

On my 2nd gen I put a MBRP turbo back. Fit like a glove and all the hangers were in the right spot, welded, etc. They also make excellent sled exhausts as well....

The best exhaust is the one you can get for the best price. All it is is bent pipe, some noise insulation, and sometimes a pretty tip on it.

I have a 4" stainless steel MBRP on my truck, no complaints.

i got a 5" straight pipe from some guy on ebay, out of nebraska i think.
like $350, alumanized, but i try and wash down in the winter weekly anyways so salt doesnt bug me.
install was a breeze, only thing i added was i welded the joints with some spot welds.
be warned though, no muffler on a 3" 4" or 5" is noisy

I got a 4" stainless steel Magnaflow installed for 388.00 with a muffler. It sounds great and no drone.
