I saw a post on here a couple weeks ago that had a reply including a web URL where you could look up the best price on a new Truck. Anybody have any idea what I am talking about?
I can not locate it now. Any ideas on where to get a super deal somewhere east of the mighty mississippi please sound off!

When I started shopping around for my truck I was not having much luck getting much of a break on the price. Seemed like the standard deal was around $1500- $2500 over invoice around here in DFW area. A few of the dealerships even had required add ons that made the deals even worse.
I was on one of the web sites figuring out what invoice was on my truck. kbb.com nada.com and their are others I can't think of right now. There were a lot of banners to click on to have someone find the best price. I clicked on one put in my info and the next day I had a response from a large dealer close to my house.
I called the internet salesman that emailed me. First thing he said was they could sell me a truck at invoice. Needless to say I went straight over there. That sure was easier than the BS I was going thru trying on my own. Don't know if it works like that everytime but you might try it.
FWIW Randy
We got our 02 4x4 3500 back about 4 months ago
and got it OTD tax and every thing for under $33,000.00

Has ever thing but the leather seats.

Try here for good info on prices.

EDMUNDS (http://www.edmunds.com/)

We had to shop around like at 9 diff places and I e-mailed
the dealer and told him I need your best price I have my own
Finance & no trade. We sold my wifes 98 3500 to a guy here in town. So less then 24hr later I got a call on what was on the lot and the prices.

All the lots we went to befor did not want to deal with us
because we had our own Finance & no trade so they could not
monkey with the paper work to make it look like a great deal.

Shop around and make suer they know when you leave you wont be back.
