bent end link

I just noticed today while cleaning my truck that I have an end link on my driver's side that is bent quite badly. The passenger one is tip top and just wondered what could have made that one go, and what could happen with it being bent. I just found out that you should put longer ones on, or the drop block but a little to late.

Did you take it off road and do any articulation? Stockers are cheap. Go to Lorenz or Carli and buy one of thiers. Never have to worry. They are both under $200 for a pair.

It most likely happened during the leveling kit install. A lot of shops don't bother to unbolt the sway bar links and the weight of the axle pulling on it will bend them every time.

As stated above with the leveling kit and no stabilizer drop blocks with they can bend pretty easy with articulation. Bigger the tires, the easier.

I bent both of mine early on with leveling kit and 315s and replaced with new stock ones. When I removed the lift kit and went to 285s, the driver side was bent. The guy at the 4 wheel shop just took a large pry bar and straightened it out. Been straight since for the last 20k miles.
