belt tensioner
how do tell if it has gone bad seems to have plenty of force on it when push it no wobble putting my 2nd serp. belt on in 2half yrs. not sure whats doing this?

Usually the belt starts driving you INSANE when the nylon (delrin?) bushing wears out and the belt hangs slightly over the side of the tensioner pulley. When the bushing wears out the tension arm gets crooked, that's why the pulley no longer lines up.
If the bearings feel ok and the belt doesn't squeal, I'd personally save the new part for when the old one wears out. It's stoopid easy to replace.
