Bed Repair Parts

Hey everyone,
Is there anyone who makes patch panels for 2nd gen bedsides? The normal spot has given up the ghost on my rig. I don't have the capability to make my own panel due to the body line, and I dont really want to replace the whole bedside at $500 per side. Any info would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks,
Travis

I know there are fender arch sections out there.

Or you can cut out the bad section with a cutoff wheel and make a new arch out of fiberglass/resin. Replacement arches are pretty cheap.
Spraying rust converter through the bed stake holes and taillight openings up onto the wheelhouse will help keep the rust down. Likewise on the front fenders
via the turn signal openings and the sides in the engine compartment.

bedside

I know browns, in wi. has them, i just replaced the left on my 95, i wire welded in the piece, but next time i would use glue, check with your auto paint shops, if using glue theres no worry about warpage, it can happen with a welder, Pete

Thanks Pete, I am pretty sure im gonna use glue. A buddy of mine uses some black glue in pouches for DuPont. He loves it for that kind of thing, said hes never had it let go.

What type of glue do you use with that? I had more time in fixing the warpage on my 1500 than cutting out and patching in the new piece.
