Beautiful Truck on eBay
While surfing eBay I came across this beauty. Only driven 2,300 average miles per year.
You all think the price is fair or a little high?

It's had 6 owners so why did 6 owners never put any miles on it? How high are the odds on that occurring? That part makes me question how many owners drove it with maybe a broken gear reducer on the speedometer.
Three years ago I junked a plow truck of which I was the third owner. The second owner bought it from the lawn service company that he worked for. The speedometer showed 80,XXX miles and had not worked for at least the last 10 years that he owned the truck. The gear reducer was busted off the transfer case and all that remained of it was the nut, gear, and the plastic shaft holder.
Maybe it's legit but that's for you to decide.

One of my dads trucks (the one he bought brand new) is as clean as that one. It has 76k on it. He hasnt driven it for atleast 3 yrs! Before that one time who knows. I cant imagine one of these trucks not being driven. He has three other 1st gen diesels to run to rack up mileage he says. That one is special because its the only truck he ever bought new. I understand but that truck is near mint! Sucks its a reg cab auto W250. If it was a club cab 5spd I would think he has something special. There are low mileage trucks out there. But his asking price for what it is is ridiculous. Just my opinion.

I think it's worth way more than what they're asking....
Did you see how much tire shine and armorall is all over that truck. That must add at least 10K to the value !
I really can't ever even consider purchasing a vehicle on Eblay without at least 20 + pix of the undercarriage. It's usually a dealer who posts pix of the same side of the truck at least 3-4 times .... all of the same view.
Watch out for them dealers. They all are a bunch of liars, as every truck I've ever gone to look at that was listed by one, turned out to be a rust bucket, even though the ad said that there was little or no rust.
Site visit to the truck is the only way to go.
EDIT:
BTW, the d350 from texas (blue truck) looks much cleaner than the one from OR. Either way, you should go look at it.

Sorry about the eBay link. I wasn't trying to sell the truck, just a little shocked about the condition and price. But if the truck was an extended cab and truly in that good of condition it would be tempting.

No worries, Mike. Due to the agreement we have with our advertisers, we cannot post any links to ads... CraigsList, E-bay, etc., even if you are not the seller.

There is a guy in Jersey with the same truck but with 12,XXX for the starting bid. He bought it from the same guy I bought my truck from and he had the same thoughts about the guy too! He played himself off to be a nice farmer but really turns out to be a greasy used truck salesman on the side....

Im back here in utah and last year I ran onto a first gen with 29,000 orginal miles. Just a older feller that owned it orginal tires and everything. it was legit. It had been ran a few miles every week to keep the seals good. they want ten grand for it. and it sold fast. seen it come on ksl again a while back for 18,000. I would of flipped the bill for the ten grand if i could of got their in time.
