Got a chance to pick up a used Banks iQ for $300. It won't let me change on the fly though with my Bully Dog/Outlook setup. The BankS iQ looks sweet though. I could eventually get a Six Gun and have on the fly back. Should I jump or let it go and stick with my old BDTD? Remember its no longer being updated.

Anyone know if banks does boost fooling? Been thinking about a boost fooler.

the banks does have a boost fooler with the six gun...man i love the change on the fly! if you do get the six gun, get the speed loader w/ it!

Your Bullydog is a much stronger tuner. You won't be happy what you get with the Banks. Plus it is a pressure box... these shorten injector life with constant use. Yeah the IQ may be a trick little display and what not, and if that is what you are after, that's cool. But the six gun power? Not so much.

I've got the Baks IQ and like it so far. OF course all I did was to upgrade the PDA for the IQ. The Banks adds good controlled power for towing. Next wee I plan on seeing if I get the truck dyno'd to see what all of the add ons have done.

Well I'm currently running the Outlook. I like my Triple Dog enough even though I'm not producing enough boost. I'm going to pick up a boost fooler for that. I didn't realize that the iQ will only work with the Six Gun installed also. It won't work as a stand alone monitor. I see that as a huge oversight for Banks. Now you either pony up will over a grand for the iQ and Six Gun, or you got an iQ that you can't even use in the mean time. I'm going to let it go even though the price is right.

I don't think you can run the Iq without the sixgun yet.....They don't have the standalone iq out yet.

Right. You have to have the Six Gun to use the iQ. So....no iQ for me.
Maybe I'll keep my eye open for a cheap PMT.

Yeah, stick with what you have or just swap out for a smarty sr. That would be best. You'll be real disappointed especially after feeling the bullydog.
