I never liked mine and hated BD-powers customer service even more.

My dad has a BD in his 99 PS, has put 90,000 miles on it hauling a camper and/or towing a 37FT 5th wheel all over, works great. My brother has an 03 with the 48RE, we put in a BD valve body and converter at least 40,000 ago. It works great, more power to the ground, better shifts, etc. He runs an intake kit, 4" exhaust, and a BDDL.

BD does not use a triple disk. Id run one of the other quality triple disk units.

4 months of missery trying to get it to work. Alot of extra money to make it work in the end. Promises by BD-Power never kept costing me more money. 30,000 miles later started acting up again. Sold truck before it cost me more money.

All that and my 99 truck was only slightly modified to 270 RW Hp. Cripes, that's as much as my 06 stock truck puts down.

If I had to write the whole story I'd need a publisher and sell books.

Good luck in your decision. God bless and irish luck if you go with BD-Power.
