That's a communication error. Make sure you are pulling all the fuses that need to be pulled for that truck. If that has been done then look for a GPS or Radio fuse that could be pulled also.

Dont mean to pirate this thread but my hey bud can you tell me why my pmt is acting up? It keeps on shooting my coolant temp to like 350 when i start my truck and start driving, then comes down to like 100 after driving a couple 100 feet. Really weird it only happens when i start then first drive away..Truck usually has been sitting for a few hours aswell, so there is now way my temp is that high??? Any suggestions I hope this made sense

This happens because on initial startup the trucks computer is sending an invalid reading back to the PMT when it requests coolant temp. One of those little bugs that we will be fixing in the next software release. It's just bad data not really that hot. That's why it corrects itself after a few seconds as well. Because then the ECM starts responding correctlly to the request.

Sorry I don't remeber exactly. Was it only happening with the tune installed? Here is what I found on that DTC.
P1740-TCC O/D SOL PERFORMANCE (DIESEL)
For a complete wiring diagram Refer to Section 8W
Theory of Operation
The Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid is used to engage the TCC which improves fuel economy.
When Monitored:
The Torque Convertor Clutch (TCC) and Overdrive Clutch (O/D) will be tested each time the ECM requests TCC engagement in 3rd gear and O/D.
Set Condition:
The DTC will set if the expected rpm drop is not achieved while attempting to engage TCC or O/D. This indicates a malfunctioning torque convertor or overdrive clutch.

Ok i see what its telling me but the pmt is showing me the tc is engaged and i can feel it engage and disengage, the co-pilot is also showing tc lock up. So thats why i cant figure it out. Sould i call ats to see if its a common prob. Ive seen other guys saying they have had the same code trip with the same mods ? But no one has ever posted if they figured it out..Sorry for all the questions... Thanks again .....CHAD...
