battery terminals
im installing a 2500 watt power inverter in my 97. and im looking for a type of terminal that i can describe best as a "piggy back" terminal. ive seen them a few times but unable to locate the part anywhere local. it would clamp onto the pos. side of the battery like a normal terminal but has its own post coming off the top where you would attach another cable. my inverter requires 2 power and 2 ground leads that have to be atleast 2ga wire. so rather than just use a giant eyelet to attach to the factory clamp i would like to have something a little bit more secure and reliable. any help on were i could find something like this would be much appreciated

Just put a longer bolt through your stocker (5/16")
If that isnt what your looking for - check out www.custombatterycables.com - they have all kinds of accessories.
I think I would be looking at heavier than 2 guage - Id go with 2/0.

a good idea to have when you replace batteries is to buy the dual post batteries if avail. that will give you options to add elec stuff to the other terminals. most radio shops, auto parts stores and even best buy like stores should carry teminals and fuse holders for accessories too.
