basic starter upgrades

basic starter upgrades

I got a 01 about a year ago and have been busy my 90 and 91 were tweeked now its time for the 01 so where do I start on the freebies?

Not many freebies to speak of. You can remove the silencer ring for a little more whistle but thats about the only thing that dont cost money. O and you can put a turnbuckle on the wastegate to keep it from opening.

were is the silencer ring located I would bet its gone?

if you take the intake tube that goes to the turbo off you can see it in the front of the turbo it is hel don by a snap ring. No preformance gains or losses, but it'll make it whistle a bit more.

read your sig how many vp's have you had?
headed ouyt to look at silencer ring I'll let you know if it was still there

Haha "was". I bought my truck with 378,000 on it so I dont know how many vp's the original owner put on it, but since I had it 1 died and I had it replaced and it didnt even last a month so it was replaced free of charge for me. Hopefully I dont go thru many more lol
