Get the barring tool from Cummins for approx $35 and the DV socket from snapon online. The socket is a blue point model and costs around $30. When I bought mine the injection shop wanted a $100 for it!! Sorry I dont have the PN handy.

Cummins Barring Tool

Mine was made by OTC and I got it through a local tool supplier. The OTC web site gives dealer locations.

Question Baring Tool

hi
got a baring tool from local truck repair shop .

it is a cummins 3824591 $43.00 with tax .

it has a 1/2 square drive for a 1/2 in extension , i thought i read where some have a 3/8 drive hole ?

3/8 was what i was expecting , not that it matters i guess as i can use a adaptor if i need to ?
