Banks powerpack question

Hey guys and gals! I wanted to say hey and ask my first question after lurking for a while. I just bought a 97' 3/4 ton 12v CTD that already has the full Banks powerpack installed on it. I don't think the truck has been tuned properly and I would like to get some advice. First question, what fuel plate comes with the Banks kit? I've heard its similar in appearance to a TST #6, and I've heard others say it looks like a #10 (that would be great if it was). Also, does anyone know of a good diesel tuner/technician anywhere around the northern MD/southern PA area that would be willing to tackle a pump timing change on my truck? Are there any other tips or tricks I should be aware of involving the Banks kit. I already did some adjusting with the star wheel and it made a huge difference. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! TIA

Banks powerpack
I put one on my 98 12v now my turbo whistle is loud.
is yours? ( would like to know how to quite it down )

I took my silencer ring out so it does whistle pretty loud. It had a noticeable whistle before hand, now you can really hear it. HTH

The easiest way to know if your fuel calibration is correct is based on EGT. The fuel plate that comes with a PowerPack is designed to get the fuel calibration as closely matched to the added airflow as possible, but at times, fine tuning is necessary. The target EGT (turbine inlet) is 1300 degrees. Under full load (pulling a heavy weight, climbing a hill at full throttle, for example) check your EGT. If you cannot achieve 1300 degrees, then a fuel adjustment may help. As far as who can perform the work, I would probably recommend Fuel Injection of Allentown. They are very familiar with Banks products and they are a reputable diesel shop.
