does anyone think that the banks muffler drones bad. I pulled the cat and put the banks muffler on and i think it has a horrible drone at 75 mph. I had an 03 with 4" and a quadzilla muffler on it and it was way better than this banks muffler. is this just the way the newer trucks are or could it be that this truck is a dually and my other one was not. i'm about to put the cat and muffler back on well maybe its not that bad but still annoying.

try out the aeroturbine it helps to eliminate drone look into it if you don't want to replace with stock cat and muffler

just put a resonator as far forward as you can... you can spend $200 on the aeroturbine, or ~$80 for a dynaflex

If you have access to a sawzall, pick up a couple of 4" band clamps (http://shop.airflowonline.com/Mercha...tegory_Code=S1) and you can slap one on in the driveway in under an hour.

Aeroturbine works good to, just spendy.

I have the Banks Monster 4" Catback system on mine. I dont really have a drone at any cruising speed. It is a little annoying when accelerating with a load, but not bad. I still have the Kitty, so I am pretty sure it is acting like a resonator.

Kyle is right if you have removed the cat and are getting a drone, the best fix is an Aeroturbine all the way in the front of hte system righ tunder the passengers feet. It will not only stop the drone, but will also lower EGTs even more.
