The video on the banks site shows the 6gun is the fastest programmer tested and with less smoke, so i was wondering what yall think? I keep hearing that banks has no power or is slow but the video shows a differant story. I know its expensive and from what i've heard the customer service sucks too. So i was just mainly wondering about the power of the banks.

do yourself a favor and buy a smarty or anything else. I have an 06 with only a smarty and it put down 461hp on a dyno. this was my own truck no propaganda. Ive heard horror stories of the 6 gun and most of their stuff is overrated. you can do what you want but thats my thoughts. ive seen trucks at shows that have huge decals that slam banks power. if you dont want smoke stay with edge or tst.

i just installed a banks 6-gun on mine and the next day i installed an edge. the banks has to learn, and its stupid, it didn't learn. called customer support and they couldn't help me they just told me to take it off and then put it back on and if it didn't work then, then call them back. i had no problem installing the edge took about 10 mins and then off to the races and seein all that smoke.

so after my opinion im never dealing with banks again. im actually thinking about taking my high ram intake off just because its banks!!!

Check my signature. I fell for the same Banks line you are looking at. I have had the six gun with speedloader since day one on my truck. Banks is not a "bad" product, but just like everyone here will tell you, it is WAY overrated and expensive for the return you get. And it doesn't give you enough to make the quad boost fooler work. Get a Smarty. I did Couldn't be happier. The total power and the way the Smarty makes the power is much, much better.

I have the Banks. If I were to do it now I'd buy the Smarty. I have had no problems with the Banks and have no axe to grind. I have had good CS. w/ Banks. The shift on the fly is nice. I may stack it with the Smarty.

Go ahead and stack it with the smarty-- I did and am very happy with the results. I had no problems with the banks either. But when you try the smarty, you will then realize how weak the Banks stuff is. And that's no joke!
