Ball Joints

Anyone had trouble with ball joints with less then 60 thousand miles. Had my front end checked yesterday and 3 of the 4 ball joints have slack in them. So much for those no grease ball joints.
Got appointment with the dealer for next week to have them replaced. Glad I got the extended warranty. I liked to have chocked when I found out how much the things cost.

I just had to replace all of my balljoints, uppers and lowers both sides. Although i've got 140,00 on my trucks and 50k of those miles it's been on 37's. Seems odd that yours went bad so soon, but you never know it is a dodge.

All 4 of mine were bad at 70k. Dealer replaced them under warranty even after I put the lift on. I got lucky there.

I have an '01 with 74K and I was attempting to install some Daystar spring spacers and found that there was a lot of slop in mine. I just put it all back together minus the spacers until I can get the balljoint ordered and replaced.

I did all for on my 01 around 70K miles. There was almost 1/4" upward movement on the lower drivers side balljoint. It was a big job and took me two days as a first timer. Moog has them for 01 and 02's finally. I would have replaced them at 60K miles but they had not been released.
