Bad injector?

Bad injector?
I have a skip from idle thru about 1500 rpms. Not constant, but every 2 minutes or so a little skip and then smoothes out. Fuel lines good and filters clean. Injectors are original as is the injector pump, lift pump replaced two years ago. Would I gain anything with 215 injectors and Dv's. if that is the problem? What I am asking is what are the symptoms of bad injectors?

When my injector went bad, my truck started white smoking, and missing/stumbling, and it finally got to where when you took off from a stop, it shot a big puff of white smoke, and missed awful. It also leaked fuel out the top of the injector. I didnt know what was wrong. Replaced the injector and it has been fine since.
