When I was up there, I filled up with the B5 - worked just fine. And it was competitively priced. If I'm in the area again, sure I'll fill up with B20.

There are a few more stations with Propel, hope it becomes regular throughout the state.

Propel dropped the B20 line in California, replaced it with Diesel HPR.

Propel Diesel HPR

I wonder how the lubricity compares???

I realize this is a really old thread, but I'm surprised that bio is still out there - I quit running it in 2008 when it got more expensive than dino diesel. Maybe CA is different?

I'm hoping this makes
it to San Diego.

Algae fuel production needs to happen in the US. It would take a lot to get going but we could cut back on the fracking and tell the Arabs to stuff it.

I've been running the propel HPR for a few months now in the Mercedes. I can really tell no difference... except in the wallet. I have been paying $1.97 a gal. vs $2.29+ for common #2.
