Axle Nut Size?

Axle Nut Size?

I'm going to be changing my front rotors and pads tomarrow. Any one happen to know the socket size needed to take the axle nut off?

on my 99 3500 dually it's a 1 3/4 " deep socket. I don't think its diffrent on a 2500 some one else maybe key in. hope it help cole

I'm pretty certain I used a 1 3/4" when I changed my DS unit bearing a few weeks back. But I used a shallow 3/4" drive socket

1 3/4 6 point will work , but it is actually closer to 1 11/16 (or whatever that is in MM)

Thanks for the replies, I found out it was a 1 11/16". My buddy had one and it came off pretty easy.
