OK guys, I know there are alot of you that have AutoMeter gauges. I need help on the cluster wiring for my 2005 truck. To power the lights in my boost and EGT gauge, which wires in the trucks light switch do I connect the Positive and the negative wires to so they light up with the lights.

in the 2005 if you look behind the panel where the radio is there is a connector there for a light that goes in the little glove box. that light there is connected to the dash lights and will turn on when your running lights and head lights are on but i can't remember if they would be controlled by the dimmer switch. as for tapping 12 v power that is key controlled the cig. lighter is key controlled or you can run that out under the hood to the fuse panel.
