Autometer gauge issue
Well guys, i got 2 of the 3 gauges connected and have all the wiring run through the firewall for the last gauge. However...i went out and drove my truck to make sure everything worked, and my pyrometer will NOT go over about 210 deg. max., thats idling, when my foot is all the way to the floor or cruising, it never leaves that point. It also doesnt drop below about 150 when i shut the truck off, and the buggy that helped me install em said his drops to 0 when he shuts down. Im sure i have either a bad gauge or a bad sending unit. We double checked all connections and all are correct.
Any input for me guys? This really bums me out

My Autometer pyro never drops to zero - not supposed to according to the instructions... where did you mount the probe?
Sure about those electrical connections/wiring?

do a search on the autometer pyros , or call your supplier. There was some troubles a while back with malfunctioning pyros, everyone i know of the gauge AND thermocouple was replaced by autometer with a new gauge , and a different style thermocouple.
