autometer electric fuel gauge problem

gauge has been in the truck almost a year- no problems until yesterday. i noticed when braking the gauge needle would rise another 1-2psi-take my foot off of the brakes (while driving) the gauge needle would go back to operating (17) psi. autometer says it is the ground- checked it- ground wire is secured to a proper gorund. checked connections on back of gauge, etc. any ideas?? would this be a sender problem or a wiring problem?? thanks.

Don't know, I have had mine for over a year and a half with no noticeable problems. I have FASS system and it generally show 17-18psi at idle and I have never seen it exceed that, only drop in sequence with my right foot.

i also have fass- mine runs at 17psi- but since yesterday when i apply the brakes- the needle will hit 18-19psi-then go back down to 17psi when my foot is taken off of the brakes.
