Automatic trouble

I have a 94 12 valve 4x4 w/ automatic trans. Several months ago I experienced an erratic problem where the truck would randomly lock and unlock the converter in overdrive. I say it was erratic but it got so bad you could hardly drive it. Since then I have had the transmission rebuilt (reputible diesel trans builder), DTT noise filter installed, new TPS, new cold sensor, and load tested the batteries. All of this was done at the same time and I thought the truck was fixed. Rebuilt trans worked great, loved the tighter converter, no more unlocking and locking of the converter unexpectedly. I have been driving the truck most every day for a couple of months and not one time has it messed up. Last week I leave from work... hit about 60 mph, hear the converter unlock, then the truck downshifts to 3rd, back to OD, lock up, unlock, 3rd. I dont know what it is doing so I pull over shut it off. Start it back up, let it idle a few minutes, take off and drive 20 minutes home no problem. Drove it since then no problem, until yesterday, same thing 60-65 mph and a random downshift to 3rd after the converter unlocks. It did this two or three times on my way home. Any ideas what this could be? I am a little frustrated thinking this has been fixed a few times and still is not. Its funny that it just used to lock and unlock the converter and now actually downshifts to 3rd.

My truck does the same thing. Mine did it soon after it went into overdrive at 50. Someone told me to look for loose ground connections. I replaced the neg. bat cable and cleaned all bat cables and put dielectric grease on them. So far mine has only done that once or twice since then. As a matter of fact it hasn't done that in a couple of weeks and I drive it every day. Hope this helps, good luck
