Easy....this worked on my 01:

Disabling rolling locks:

1.Close all doors
2.Place the key in the ignition and cycle the key from the OFF position to ON four times ending in the ON position,do not start the truck.
3.Press the driver's side power door lock switch to the LOCK the doors within 30 seconds.
4.You will hear a single chime. Roll lock deactivated.
5.Follow the same steps to activate again.

Do that and your problems will be gone

Worked on my '02. Thanks, Doc, check's in the mail. Now, close that north door, Oklahoma isn't supposed to be freakin' freezing! I'm sick of 20-30 degree days!

I know you would probably walk around in a tee shirt down here, but I'm used to 90+!

Do you have to pat your belly and rub your head while running around in counterclockwise circles reciting the alphabet backwards too?

Does anyone have a clue as to what the above means? I'm not sure what that is all about. Must be a Texas thing I missed it.

Was a reference to the many steps that must be taken to disable the rolling doorlocks. Would be much easier to flip one switch somewhere and be done with it

Yes but one switch is not the computer way of doing things, You live analog in a digital world. You probably like the old manual inexpensive injector pump too
When my wife locks herself out (happens lots) she hits speedial 5 on the cell and Onstar opens the van for her. Once a month I get a computer readout of the engine health too. Big brother with his eye in the sky can be good sometimes.

Re-Open this old thread!

I has been a while since I read this thread, but my neighbor has brought me back to it again.

The above worked on my '02, but now I can't get his roll lock to disable. His truck is the same truck as mine, even same color, but it won't work. Any ideas or tricks for an 01? Maybe I'm not holding my mouth right when I do it. I tried it 6 or 7 times two different days.

By the way....Hey Doc! How 'bout some of those 20 - 30 degree days now. It has been over 100 for five days in a row and I can't take it no more. Can I move to Canada? Got a spare room?

You know I got the BBQ covered....we'll have to take a trip down to southeastern OK to get the white lightnin'. I've had some that wasn't bad at all back in college.
