Auto Transmission Band Adjustment

I have read some where a step by step adjustment procedue for our transmissions but can not find it at this time. Thanks for your help

Call an expert. They will say leave it alone, or have an expert tranny person do it. Keep your hands off.

Why? It was pretty simple to do. The reverse band was a bit more work, 'cuase the pan and filter need to by pulled, but if you're servicing it anyways....................

Well, you're right. For people who don't have very much mechanical experiance, leave it to the guys at shops who know......Like the dealership....
But like I said, it's very, very simple to do. My truck doesn't go the dealership (no warranty) or any other shop for that matter. My pops paid way too much for those darn Snappy tools, so might as well get some use outa them.............

Talk to Tim Holt first. He's had in hands in more tranny's than probably everyone combined on this site. He'll give it to you straight.
