Auto trans slips only 3rd gear

Hi guys i am new to the site and am having a problem with my 05 2500 auto trans
3rd gear slips going in just some times ,never when i am hard on throttle only when i am taking it easy.
I know it is a electronic shift so i was wondering if it might be a trans mechanicle problem or a sensor or relay or something

The rpms climb and then it just seems to slide in rather than a firm shift .What is confusing to me is it is only once in a while . it does has 103k highway miles on it .

Thanks in advance

If you have 100K on the factory fluid it could be why all 3 of you have a slipping trans problem. You should service the trans every 30K by installing a new filter and top off with new fluid. I don't understand why people don't service there cars or trucks properly and then wonder why it no longer works correctly!
