I have truck in sig. Right now I have stock plate slid full forward, afc housing slid, 16* timing, boost elbow, 3k gsk and the trans gauge rarely moves off 140*. I think it will be fine for a while. I actually plan to go to a #10 or #0 plate before upgrading trans. It will be fine with some mods if you go easy on it. I rod on mine a bit and I can barely get the gauge to move.

mine has been at 500 rwhp for 40k it is a stock trans with a triple disk converter. but 2nd gear will not hold with the slicks. on the street it is fine, it just spins the wheels.

(Just wondering, I was figuring that it was the light weight helping it live.)

I have had my #6 for two years now consistantly towing #5000 trailers on windy mountain roads. My trans is just now starting to slip and not shift right but it also has 180,000 miles on it. Its in the shop right now getting rebuilt with a single disc TC, Valve body. Truck being re-geared with 4.10's to tow better with my 35's.

I bombed my 96 in my sig about 2,000 miles ago. I do drive hard and the tranny is stock. I can slip my torque convertor at any thing over 3/4 throttle so depends how much power you want to make, how you drive, and how lucky you are.
