Auto Tranny Drain

Would it make sense to drain the auto tranny fluid more often through the drain plug or does the dealer have some way to drain the TC for a full drain?

How much will come out if I do it and just drop the plug vs what will be left behind?

Re:Auto Tranny Drain

On my current vehicles that have a drain plug on the tranny, I drain and fill once a year and I don't worry about a complete flush since my tranny fluid is never burnt. If I were following the regular scheduled maintance for the tranny, then I would make sure all my fluid was changed by have a flush done.

Re:Auto Tranny Drain

I was considering measuring and changing what ever comes out with just the drain plug removed and doing this yearly as well.
