Auto Lock/ Alarm

Can someone tell me how to activate the auto unlock when I put my 07 in park? Is there a way to activate and unactivated the alarm system? I don't have the fancy overhead computer that has the menu button.

Arrow Do You Have An Alarm?

Do you know for sure you have an alarm on it?
The elctric door locks on the key fob does not really mean it is alarmed it just locks and unlocks the doors. You must have the factory installed alarm system or have an aftermarket put in.........

My 06 had the alarm and the 07 seems to have all the same features on it but no alarm. I thought it might be somthing that I could activate.

Yeah I don't have the red flashing light on my dash like my 06 and if you open the door by the key and don't hit the unlock button the horn doesn't start honking. I guess I don't have the alarm but I thought it might be something that could be activated. Does anyone know how much Dodge wants for their alarm? I stay at allot of hotels and like the idea of the truck making noise if someone is being a ##########.

I had to have a Dodge dealer install the EVS-II system to get the alarm on my '03, along with the Sentry keys.

If you have the keys with the built-in FOBs then this may not work for you.

If you have the RKS (black keyfob with buttons on it), P/N 82209694 is used to install the alarm feature. It uses a separate led indicator not the red led in the panel. A google search on that P/N will show a lot of places to buy the part. Or just go to your local MOPAR dealer. The best prices appear to be about $140.

The following link shows the instructions:
