ATV Battery

It's time to replace the battery in my quad.

What's the best one you've had experience with?

Thanks!

I have a Sears Die-Hard in my 1999 Polaris Sportsman. If you keep it charged you can get three years out of it. I think I paid about $42.00 for the last one.

Put your ATV batteries on a battery maintainer (not a trickle charger) when not in use, and their shelf life will improve dramatically.

I wouldn't overthink it...I've got a Sears Diehard charger/maintainer that works great. As well as a cheap one from Harbor Freight (I don't trust it, though, so I'm gonna get another one from Sears).

I think any name-brand maintainer will work fine. I use mine on the ATV batteries and the group 31 battery I've got on my Toy Hauler.

I put an Odyssey "dry cell" in my Polaris 800. It cost a little more, but in my opinion well worth it. No leaking, no "vent" tube, no corrosion.
