Attitude Question
I am going to put the Smarty on my truck but won't have the gauges for a few weeks. My question is if I leave my edge juice on and set it to stock will I be able to use the gauges on the attitude for the time being. The reason I ask is because I have heard that the juice and Smarty don't mix but I would like to be able to see what the Smarty is doing under the hood. I just don't think I will be able to keep my foot off the go pedal once I have the Smarty loaded.

i would think it would work . why doesn't the edge get along with the smarty ? the edge box has timing so if you set the smarty to a stage that didn't have timing wouldn't it work ?

I don't have any experience with the juice and Smarty, I have just been told that they won't stack. I would love to hear otherwise but I think it has been tried without any luck.

We tried for a while, just surged and made less power than Smarty+EZ. The juice is made to read off of the stock ECM program, and the smarty modifies it, I think thats why they dont go together. We kept the juice for now because of the gauges, but eventually we will do smarty+injectors.

Why does the Juice work so well with the Diablo then? They both reprogram the ecm. I wish the Smarty worked with the Juice. That would be awesome.

Outhuntin, I say give the smarty a shot, the attitude will work fine. Be careful though, running timing with both power adders will not be good for the motor. We sold the smarty because the FASS was a higher priority, not because we didn't like it. Once the truck is outfitted to get the full potential out of it, we will run it again. Too bad the 2nd gen smarty cant be as impressive, but thats a different story.
Good point t-boe, I dont know what the deal is, worst you can do is try i guess.

The Diablo just writes on top of the stock programming. The SMARTY comnpletley replaces it. I'm guessing that is the difference. But from experience, the Juice does not work with SMARTY. The attitude will still function and give you information though, which is what this thread was originaly about.
