I've got a full built ATS tranny with the copilot. I ran my truck with the shift limiter turned off a couple of times and it became increasingly hard to get it out of park. Once its in gear it runs and drives fine but just getting it out of park. Thought it might be the shift cable but replaced it and still the same.
Wondering if its a common problems and mabye an easy fix.
Any help is appreciated..

My truck just has a stock tranny but does the same thing, I can't get it into 1st gear either. There is a ball and grove as part of the valvebody??? And it gets whallowed out, and sticks. I haven't gotten it fixed yet, been running it that way for 10 months. It did lock up on me hard once and I thought I was finished.

Somebody correct me if I haven't gotten this straight, but I think that's the jist of it.

Yeah thats its. Ive poped the shift cable off and worked it back and forth. Sprayed it with pb blaster and brake clean and call it good. I just want to get it fixed before i hook up to my Rv.
