Arson II Mod. Install

I just got my Arson II mod. kit in today and will be installing it in a couple of days. I am looking at the instructions and it is just an exploded view. How hard is it to install? Does anyone have good instructions for this?

I've read that it can be installed without removing the CP3, so it can't be that difficult. Good luck.
Take some pics during your install and post 'em up.

My kit didn't come with instructions. There is a small check ball about the size of a bb that is behind the fitting on the high pressure line to the rail. Make sure that you don't lose it. They recommended jacking up the rear of the truck to prevent it from rolling out.

Like I said no instructions, so I don't know if your's mentions that or not.

I did it. Tips:

Remove the driver side tire and wheel well. Strike the FCA and gear assy bolts prior to trying to remove them. It's a T-25 and T27, I think...

Thanks guys. Hey, I bought the pre-tapped 90* fitting from Vulcan for my fuel pressure gauge. Do I use this at the output of my AD150 or at the input of the CP3? Also, I am still in the process of installing my AD150 and I purchased the stock fuel filter delete bracket from GDP. When I remove the stock filter assembly will all of the other hoses and connectors for it come off with it?

I don't know about the FF delete, but I used the tapped 90 at the CP3.

Got it done except for the check ball. I can't seem to get the fitting back in without the check ball falling off of the spring. Can I just stick the ball in the hole and the spring will pick it up on the way in? I know a tiny dab of grease will hold the ball on but I don't know if that is safe for the fuel system. I am doing the install with the CP3 on the truck. It was pretty easy, about an hour.

I went the tiny dab of grease route and have had no problems.

I just laid the ball inside the hole and slid the fitting in until it started to thread in. Then I removed it slowly and used a mirror to look in the hole and saw that the ball was seated inside then put the fitting back in.

I would recommend putting a towel down on the floor under the truck to catch the ball if it falls out. If that ball falls out and hits the floor it can vanish quickly.

I put the Vulcan 90* at the CP3 but it looks like when I tread in the sensor for the fuel pressure gauge it is going to sit right in the middle of the fuel flow. Will this not decrease the fuel flow? It seems like it is going to really slow down the flow of fuel.
