arrow draft wheel spacer ?'s
ok so i put my 1.5" wheel spacers from arrow craft on with my new tires,305-70-17 maxxis bighorns.i had to open the holes in the outer 2 rear wheels up with the reamer that they supplied,my question is now that the 2 wheels have a larger hole than the rest can i use the reamer to open up the other wheels so i can still rotate the tires around???are they hub-centric in which case the larger lug holes shouldnt matter correct??

It should work in theory but I do not recomend it, it just doesnt seem like a good idea to me.
I might run a reamed wheel on the factory lugs in a pinch but I dont know if would be a good thing to do daily.
Maybe someone that KNOWS can chime in.

If you run hubcentric wheels, reaming the bore hole will cause a balance issues and possibly make you lugs come loose over time.
I would have the spacers machined to accept the stock bore diameter.

You are refering to the center bore in your statement right?

yes the center bore,in theory the wheels being hub-centric which they are, and the lugs are not and acorn style so they dont center the rim on the hub it should be ok to ream the rest and not worry aboiut it.i just wanted to see if anyonew was doing this successfully

Right now the ceter hole carries the load, the flat lugs just hold the wheel to the hub.
If the center bore is not there tight enough to center the wheel, under heavy loads the wheel could move on the hub loosening the lugnuts.

So....if you ream out the center hole and you lugs are not acorn style......what will center the wheel when you rotate it to the front? the factory wheels are hub-centric which means the wheel is centered by the hub not the lugs
