Arg !!!
So i was coasting down a hill yesterday..... when clank... clank... clank goes the engine and white smoke starts coming out the exhaust. Pulled over to the side and shut it off right away... but then had to move it a bit further down the road cuz I was on a blind corner people fly around.
I thought it was the head gasket gone... even though I have studs.... just got the call... dropped a valve No waiting to hear how much damage it did

Sorry posted this in the wrong years section.
But no I wasn't. I was started my truck... hadn't driven it for a day.... I live on a street that's all down hill. Was coasting down the hill.
I think the guy that owned it before me beat on it bad.
As for the amount of damage... screwed the whole engine... its done.

So I went to the shop to take a look today. It wasn't a valve seat failing like other people have had from heat. The valve itself broke in half....
