APPS sensor
Where is the best place to get one. I am having dead pedal syndrome and figured I would start with this if it is not to expensive. I have read it could also be a dying VP, but no codes or engine light.

The VP44 will not always set a code. Try the APPS_RESET first to see if that might fix the problem. New ones are about $350 new from Cummins, but some on here have bought them off of Ebay for about $100.

How did you check the codes? Make sure you check thoroughly, with a scanner, before you do anything else! When my APPS went it was just a stutter in the throttle. When my VP went it was dead pedal.

My pedal will go dead during a hard left turn and return after a few seconds.
No codes on the odometer.
I can also push the clutch in and let the motor rev up then dump the clutch or hit a pot hole to get it back again so I'm going to check the wiring and connectors before I get too excited.

I'm supposed to get one from Cummins today for $287 plus tax.
The Dodge dealership lists the part for $455, but surprisingly the guy I talked to said he would sell it to me at wholesale for $350. Definately call around to get the best price.
The parts guy at Cummins first told me that I would have to buy from Dodge. I called him back and gave him the part # below for my truck and then suddenly he could get it. I believe the part numbers are as follows, but have cummins verify that the application is correct.
