APPS Reset

Does anyone know how to reset the APPS on a 2001 Dodge? Its a 24v HO if that makes any difference at all. I was told that this could possibly fix a "Throttle Position Sensor-Voltage High" code without buying a sensor? One guy gave me these directions but they didn't work:

Unhook the battery cables for 30 minutes, then rehook them with the key off. Then turn the key on and slowly depress and release the throttle 2 times.

If anyone has any knowledge about this please let me know!

Check the tech facts or the FAQ at the top of the web page. There are plenty of questions like this covered in great detail.
