Apprentice

So....Is anyone else as disgusted and fuming mad over the conclusion of last nights show, as I am???

This is the only show outside of the Discovery/History/Ntl Geo realm I watch regularly....Dont care much for TV,, but I've gotten hooked on The Apprentice....I really thought Trump was gonna hire both, been saying it for weeks....I wasnt surprised that he would hire just one though...But the way the thing went down last night was just dirty...I mean, Rebecca must have been humiliated and crushed....To be brought up, then let down, then brought up again, then stomped on....That was just <SELF-EDIT> On LIVE world broadcast TV no less....I'd have to find a big rock to crawl under, if i was any of the 3...

Teen-like rant over, but I've had a bad week

I think Randall could have handled his say a little differently, but good on him for standing his ground. It's not HIS company, it's Trump's. So it's Trump's decision.

All in all, I'm a fan of the show, but Trump continues to unimpress. Strip away his money, and it seems not much of a man. Good in business, yes-- but not so good in life.

Even though Rebecca wasn't hired, I'm sure her mailbox is overfilled with job offers. Trump did all the work, so these companies have a much better idea than most what she's capable of.

Her emotions will heal, and her bank account will be *quite* healthy very soon. She going to be a success, and doesn't need Trump to do it.

Rebecca handled herself graciously and my hat goes off to her! I bet she has her choice of job offers and wouldn't be surprised if Donald didn't hire her after the show concluded. I was shocked that Randall was so brash and wanted the entire limelight to himself. I think in the end, he lost some respectibility. He should have let Trump make the decision. But it was also a big on Trump because he shouldn't have even posed the question to Randall, after all it is ultimately his decision.

I always questioned how the board rooms were done anyway. I can tell you that fighting, bickering, playing the blame game and the like was ok for a TV entertainment value, but stunk and was so over the top. I may be sheltered but I can't imagine anything, even remotely, like that happening in the real corporate world with a profitable company.

I can leave The Apprentice but the wife likes it. Personally, I can't wait for "24" or "Commander in Chief" to start with new shows!
