Unless you've managed to refrigerate the fuel tanks on all your vehicles, Acetone will not stay in solution long enough to have any effect on fuel mileage - again, place a small glass cereal bowl outside in ambient temps, add acetone, noting the initial level, leave the bowl uncovered, come back in an hour, verify the level.

For comparison, do the same with gasoline, and again with Diesel fuel - three bowls, one with acetone, one with gasoline, one with Diesel fuel - do the comparison in an hour.

Wanna mix it up even more?

Bowl half full of gasoline, another half full of Diesel fuel - fill each bowl with acetone, so it is in solution - come back in an hour, see how close each bowl is to full.

Another?

One bowl half full of water, fill with acetone - note any change to the water: coloration, suspension, etc - check the bowl an hour later, noting any quantity more than half full.

Another?

Bowl half full of gasoline or Diesel - fill the bowl with water, noting how easily the fuels mix with water, compared to acetone.

Thought - where is the acetone that was in the bowls at normal outside ambient temperature?

GMCTD.... Did you try fish crackers in any of the bowls? Are they all floating belly up? Just thought you might have tested that as well...

Fish crackers? Hey, yeah - somebody try that in a tank of Diesel fuel - if it increases your fuel mileage, I'll test it...............

that'd have to be one long down hill...
3 back to back tanks over 850 miles, pluss toped of the last one the day i did clutch. over 3k miles overall since loading the beta 4.4 , hand calculated ver by gps etc, yes over 25 mpg....

my driving is mostly i5 in the seattle/everett wa area, ranked in the top 5 worst trafic for over 5 years. my average 20 mile comute is over an hour.
id guess it works out 70% low speed stop & go, 20% 70+ mph, 10% play.
