Anyone running John Deere 15/40 Oil?
I see where John Deere still makes a CI4+ 15/40 Motor oil . I can get it from my local John Deere Supplier. It's $3.51 a quart. Not a Bad price really. Just curious as to who is using it and if you like it!

Thanks! Simce the CI4+ is hard to come by in a conventional oil and Calif won't allowe Premium blue Classic, I thought this might be a great choice.

I've being running it for about 20,000 miles. I used to be a tech at a dealership so I could get it at a bulk oil price. It seems to work fine, truck doesn't use any between oil changes so I'll probably stick with it until i find something I like better - FWIW.

In my area is just say no to Red long live Green or friends don't let friends drive Red! Anyway JD oil is some very good oil so if you can get you will have no problems from it as its a quality CI-4+ oil.

You know of course that there are some requirements to using John Deere oil. You will have to install a bucket up front and a 3-point on the back to support all the implement attachments, most importantly is the pintle for the manure spreader first. Although, YOU will then be all decked out for Christmas year round.
