Anyone running John Deere 15/40 Oil?

I see where John Deere still makes a CI4+ 15/40 Motor oil . I can get it from my local John Deere Supplier. It's $3.51 a quart. Not a Bad price really. Just curious as to who is using it and if you like it!

John Deere oil would cause the engine to seize up w/in seconds. However, if it was Case International oil, it would give you 100 HP more!

HAHA! I'm just messin' w/ ya, of course.

RED RULES!

Thanks! Simce the CI4+ is hard to come by in a conventional oil and Calif won't allowe Premium blue Classic, I thought this might be a great choice.

I've being running it for about 20,000 miles. I used to be a tech at a dealership so I could get it at a bulk oil price. It seems to work fine, truck doesn't use any between oil changes so I'll probably stick with it until i find something I like better - FWIW.

Don't let out our secret on Case International oil The truth is it takes away 100 hp so don't use it if you want performance.
But that is alll I use anyways

You know of course that there are some requirements to using John Deere oil. You will have to install a bucket up front and a 3-point on the back to support all the implement attachments, most importantly is the pintle for the manure spreader first. Although, YOU will then be all decked out for Christmas year round.
