Anyone Running a Bored&Honed Fuel Rail???

I can get a good deal on one of these, and the shop that is trying to sell me one is making some pretty outstanding claims. Just wondering if they are for real??? If nobody wants the public to see, just pm me. After talking with the shop, I'll understand.

Why would no one want to admit to it? Is it illegal? Not critisizing your post, just want to understand why no one would want to publicly admit to it.

If you are using that much fuel, having a bored/honed fuel rail won't help much. Basically, you are delaying (slightly) the draining of the rail under full throttle. If you are on the ragged edge, it might help.

It's just a slightly bigger tank...If you need more fuel, you need a bigger pump.

What are they caliming?

Basically that there is no need for a dual feed line comming from the CP3 if you use one.

Some people out there don't like to discuss what they do in order to achieve certain power levels. But that's the entire purpose of this site, to exchange ideas and experiences.

I know that PPE has them out for duramax's and i have heard that Industrial Injection is deep in to R&D on them.
Heres a link to PPE's rail page:

Justin, Gotta ask it...is the 6.7 rail compatible with 5.9 CP3 and injector lines.....are the injector lines bigger. I assume on the modified rail the inlets and outlets are honed to allow more fuel...Is the 6.7 rail sensor any higher in pressure reading ability..what about the supply and feed lines. ks

Configuration is different and they are running up to about 27kpsi stock on the 6.7 .

At least that speaks to the pure potential of the 6.7 if or whenever they get it figured out on how to bomb it.

Modded fuel rail

I run it. It is about the cheapest (best value) for a few extra horses. Got mine from TWest (he's on TDR). What the value? I'd say hp per $$$ spent is about as good as it gets. Very inexpensive. We mic'd it b-4 and after and it is roughly 20% to 25% larger. It was well done. What will it do for YOU? It depends on where you're at HP wise. Just get a baseline on the dyno and then install it and see what it does for you. Generally speaking for the mods that most of the guys on this forum have I think it's safe to say you'll be between 15hp and 30hp increase. TWest is outstanding to deal with and does what he says. I recommend it.
