This rubber grommet with attached hollow tube that becomes solid at the end??

It is located on the firewall just behind and above my clutch pedal.

I am looking for a nice, clean entry for my gauge wiring/tubing. This thing looks like it is just filling a hole, maybe for the auto's?
I'd like to slice the tube off of there.

Help me out here.

Thanks guys, new truck I am trying to avoid the "Uh, oh" 's.

Of course, now I'm desperately searching pyro probe locations.

Man, it is a lot tighter in there around the manifol/turbo than my 2nd gen was....

I cut the long plug out to make room for my wires

You and me both buddy. My 1/8" ID NAPA fuel hose I used to cover my fuel pressure line fits oh so nicely.
