well, i bought this truck used... and the more i wash the more i see paint coming off! well just now i was trying to put on a mud flap that i ripped off in the snow when i saw about a quarter sized section of paint missing on my rocker and then looked all down the rocker and i am now sick!

i want to do line-x on the rockers but i also have damage to a fender (higher, ilke above the head light), tail gate and bed rails (what can i say, the truck was used) and all the wheel wells have chips to, with some rust starting to form in alot of those areas! my worry about line-xing the thing is can the repaint the top three quarters later without it being a problem? i want to repair the areas lower first, but i was thinking maybe i have to repaint the whole truck, fix a few dents and the line-x the rockers...

any ideas? thoughts price wise?

any reputable paint shop shouldn't have a problem painting a truck that already has line-x on the rockers. i would worry about the areas that are starting to rust first. get the problem areas fixed, then worry about the cosmetic stuff.
