Well I'd like to take it for about an hour rip. I bought the Predator on kind of impulse, and am dissapointed to say the least, so I would really like to research my next tuner purchase. What and where is this CT performance that you speak of?

We aren't open on Saturdays but I would be able to meet up with you on a Saturday for you to try it out. I have no problem with doing that.

Went to golden this past weekend. AWSOME POW 1-2ft of fresh at quartz and 4-5ft of base in places. lots of land mines still. Im gonna head to revy if im home. I found a deck out there for sale and he wants 1500 for it.

Spooling, I'm from Calgary also... and also sorta in the market for a Smarty and a bunch of other stuff of course.

I really want the Smarty to enable my cruise control/manually controlled high idle. I have already grounded the required PCM pin since my truck is a 6 speed manual.

Any chance you would want to get together and yak trucks some time?
I have a ton of subtle upgrades on my very similar truck and I wouldn't mind checking out your AFE Stage 2 intake.

I just recently installed the Glacier air horn and filter kit. I highly recommend this kit and you could check it out...

I have a 5.0 Mustang that dominates my car hobby time for the summer but it's parked for the winter. I rarely get together with diesel guys unless it's by coincidence while camping in an RV park.

Stealth, just a quick note for you. If you are running the Edge Juice /Attitude as I do the Smarty works wonders with defueling issues. However, you need to keep in mind that the odd numbers for the Smarty also affect timing as does the Edge so you should only run the even numbers on the Smarty unless you set your edge back to stock. I tested the Smarty on my 02 with my Edge Juice/Attitude and water/meth with stock tranny and needless to say my tranny is no longer stock. I already have a Smarty on order for my 02 becuse it stopped my defueling issue so I do not need to use my BD Eliminator. Sorry I am blah blah blahing.[laugh]

Stealth if you are intersted in getting a smarty for your truck I have them in stock. If you are looking just for the high idle feature I have the Triple Dog for cheaper then the smarty and it has a high idle feature and you can raise your speed limiter and increase your rev limiter as well.

Let me know as I have both these items in stock as well as many other performance upgrades.

I actually have a list of items that I need.. a 4inch in-line exhaust brake, a 2nd 4 inch free flow muffler (truck is too loud since my cat fell off), a air intake kit, a Driprocol rail gauge... etc, etc... $$$$


Littleleadfoot, I totally agree. Since my Edge J/A adds timing, I will want to run the even programs in the Smarty which do not add timing. Our new RV will be about 9000lbs, so my plan will be to run a low level (2 or so) on the Smarty and still be able to make in cab adjustments on the Edge. We'll see how my turbo likes that. :)

Hot Dam!! lol picked up a Smarty today from Big Dog Performance in Calgary. They actually offered up a really good trial period for me on the Smarty. Great customer service if I may say. Wow so far the smarty is exactly what I expected, great power, great throttle response.
